The short version
We collect a phone number only when you choose to give us one. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
What we collect, and when
Nothing at all until you act. Browsing this site anonymously stores no identifier on your device and creates no record about you.
When you submit the "hear about new listings" form, the contact form, or the "sell with us" form, we store what you typed:
- Phone number — always, because it is how we reply.
- Name and email address — where the form asks for them.
- Your message or property details — as you wrote them.
- The language you were reading — so we reply in it.
- The page you were on — so we know which property you meant.
After you give us a phone number, and only then, we record which pages and properties you look at on this site and attach that to your enquiry. This exists so that when you call, the person answering can see which villa you were looking at instead of asking you to describe it. It is first-party only: it does not follow you to other websites.
Why we are allowed to hold it
We hold your details to respond to an enquiry you made and to take steps you asked for before entering a contract. Where we contact you about new listings, we do so on the basis of the consent you gave when submitting the form.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and their activity history are kept while we are dealing with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.
Your choices
- Deletion. Ask us and we will delete your number and its entire activity history. This is a real deletion, not a hidden flag.
- A copy. Ask and we will tell you what we hold about you.
- Correction. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
- Stop contacting me. Say so and we will stop.
Use any of the contact methods on our contact page. We do not require a special form.
Where it is stored
Enquiry details are stored in our own database. Photographs and files are stored with an object-storage provider. We do not transfer your details to advertisers or data brokers.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change how the site handles personal information, we will update this page.
